President of Central Luzon State University visited Maejo University to explore academic cooperation.

On Friday, October 20, 2566, at 9:00 AM, Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden, the President of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in the Philippines, along with his entourage, visited Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, the President of Maejo University, to discuss academic collaboration. On Friday, October 20, 2566, at 9:00 AM, Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden, the President of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in the Philippines, along with his entourage, visited Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, the President of Maejo University, to discuss academic collaboration. They were warmly welcomed by Maejo University executives. Additionally, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed to formalize academic cooperation between the two universities. Furthermore, Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden and his delegation visited and inspected the new agricultural research fields of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension guided by Associate Professor Dr. Aphinun Suvarnaraksha, the director. They also visited the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources' learning center, where Associate Professor Dr. Arnuparp Wankanapol, an alumni of CLSU and a faculty member of the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, welcomed them and provided a tour. Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Aphinun Suvarnaraksha, as the director of the Aquatic Animal Breeding Learning Center in the Northern Region, presented books and research posters as souvenirs to the visitors. On the same afternoon, Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden, along with his entourage, visited and observed the activities at the Natural Agriculture Research and Development Center (Cannabis Farm) and the Vermicomposting Learning Center for Organic Waste Management, guided by Professor Dr. Arnat Tancho, the director of the Natural Agriculture Research and Development Center. Orden อธิการบดี Central Luzon State University (CLSU) ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ พร้อมผู้ติดตาม เข้าพบรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เทพ พงษ์พานิช อดีตอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้, รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักวิจัยและส่งเสริมวิชาการการเกษตร, ผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย, ผู้บริหารคณะศิลปศาสตร์ และผู้บริหารวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ให้การต้อนรับและร่วมการหารือ ทั้งนี้ มีการลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ (Memorandum of Agreement: MOA) ระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัยอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้ Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden อธิการบดี CLSU พร้อมผู้ติดตาม ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงานแปลงเกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ ของสำนักวิจัยและส่งเสริมวิชาการการเกษตร โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักวิจัยฯ นำชมและบรรยายให้ความรู้ ทั้งนี้ ผู้มาเยือนได้เข้าศึกษาดูงานที่คณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงและทรัพยากรทางน้ำ โดยเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติวิทยาทางน้ำ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ และฐานการเรียนรู้ Smart Aquaculture โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ว่าที่ร้อยตรี ดร.อานุภาพ วรรณคนาพล อาจารย์ประจำคณะเทคโนโลยีการประมงฯ, ศิษย์เก่า CLSU ให้การต้อนรับ และนำชมสถานที่ นอกจากนี้รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภินันท์ สุวรรณรักษ์ ในฐานะผู้อำนวยการฐานการเรียนรู้สถานแสดงพันธุ์สัตว์น้ำภาคเหนือ ได้มอบหนังสือและโปสเตอร์งานวิจัย เป็นของที่ระลึกให้แก่ผู้มาเยือนอีกด้วย ในช่วงบ่ายของวันเดียวกัน Professor Dr. Edgar A. Orden อธิการบดี CLSU พร้อมผู้ติดตาม ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงานศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาเกษตรธรรมชาติ (ฟาร์มกัญชา) และฐานการเรียนรู้โรงไส้เดือนดินกำจัดขยะอินทรีย์ โดยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อานัฐ ตันโช ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาเกษตรธรรมชาติ ให้การต้อนรับ เป็นผู้บรรยายและนำชมบริเวณโดยรอบ

อธิการบดี พร้อมผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย เข้าคารวะรองประธานสภานิติบัญญัติ สาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน)

วันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม 2566 อธิการบดี พร้อมผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย คณะ สำนัก และอุทยาน เข้าคารวะรองประธานสภานิติบัญญัติ สาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน) พร้อมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับผู้แทนจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ และผู้แทนจาก National Taiwan University วันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม 2566 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพล ทองมา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ พร้อมผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย คณะ สำนัก และอุทยาน เข้าคารวะ Dr. Tsai, Chi-Chang รองประธานสภานิติบัญญัติ สาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน) ซึ่งเคยได้รับปริญญาดุษฎีกิตติมศักดิ์สาขาวิชาการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ในปีพ.ศ. 2562 พร้อมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับผู้แทนจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ และผู้แทนจาก National Taiwan University โดยทางมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้ขอความอนุเคราะห์กระทรวงศึกษาธิการในการส่งอาจารย์สอนภาษาจีนจากสาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน) เพิ่มจากเดิม 1 คน/ปี เปน 2 คน/ปี เพื่อรองรับจำนวนนักศึกษาที่สนใจเรียนภาษาจีนที่เพิ่มขึ้น ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีจากกระทรวง ฯ นอกจากนี้ ผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ยังได้พบและเจรจาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับรองคณบดี College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture และคณบดี School of Veterinary Medicine จาก National Taiwan University เพื่อขอรับการสนับสนุนและสร้างความร่วมมือในการก่อตั้งคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ ในช่วงบ่าย ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าเยี่ยม National Taiwan University ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐอันดับ 1 ในสาธารณรัฐจีน (ไต้หวัน) และเป็นสมาชิก SEARCA’s University Consortium ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้เป็น Affiliate Member โดยผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้รับฟังการบรรยายจากรองคณบดี College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture เกี่ยวกับความก้าวหน้าของคณะ พร้อมกิจกรรมความร่วมมือภายใต้ SEARCA’s University Consortium เช่น BACT (Biodiversiy, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan Summer Program) ซึ่งจะจัด ณ National Taiwan University ในช่วงเดือนมิถุนายนนี้ โดยมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้ส่งนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมด้วย โดยผู้แทนจาก College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture พร้อมให้การสนับสนุนให้มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็น Regular Member ของ SEARCA’s University Consortium หลังจากนั้น ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้เข้ารับฟังบรรยายจาก School of Veterinary Medicine โดยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พชรพร ตาดี ได้นำเสนอความก้าวหน้าในการก่อตั้งคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ พร้อมเจรจาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และขอรับการสนับสนุนในการก่อตั้งคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ของ National Taiwan University ซึ่งเป็นโรงพยาบาลขนาดใหญ่ และมีความก้าวหน้าด้านเครื่องมือการแพทย์ และการรักษาที่ครอบคลุม ------------------------------------------------- President of Maejo University Accompanied with the Executives of the University, Faculties, Schools, College, Offices, and Science Park Paid a Courtesy Visit to the Vice-President of the Legislative Yuan, Taiwan (R.O.C) and Had Discussions on Academic Collaborations with the Ministry of Education, Taiwan (R.O.C) and the Delegation from National Taiwan University. 10 May 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University together with the executives of the University, faculties, schools, college, office, and science park paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Tsai, Chi-Chang, Vice-President of the Legislative Yuan, Taiwan (R.O.C) who has been awarded with the doctorate honorary degree in Tourism Development from Maejo University in 2019. The delegation also met with the Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan (R.O.C) and the delegation from National Taiwan University. On this opportunity, the MJU delegation requested from the MOE to increase the number of Chinese language teacher from Taiwan from 1 person/year to 2 persons/year to respond to a higher demand at MJU. The request has received a positive response from the MOE. Moreover, the MJU delegation had a chance to meet and discuss academic collaborations with the Associate Dean of College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture and the Dean of School of Veterinary Medicine, National Taiwan University in order to support the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at MJU. In the afternoon, the MJU delegation was invited to visit National Taiwan University, the number one government university of Taiwan and also a regular member of SEARCA’s University Consortium in which MJU is the affiliate member. The MJU delegation listened to the lecture from the Associate Dean of College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture regarding the advancement of the College and the activity under the SEARCA’s University Consortium including BACT (Biodiversiy, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan Summer Program) which will be held at National Taiwan University in June. This event will also be joined by the MJU student. During the discussion, the delegation from College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture promised to support MJU to become the regular member of the SEARCA’s University Consortium. After that, the MJU delegation listened to the lecture from School of Veterinary Medicine. On this opportunity, Assistant Professor Dr. Phacharaporn Tadee presented the progress of the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at MJU and offer to initiate collaborations between the two institutions. After that, the MJU delegation visited the veterinary hospital of National Taiwan University which is a large and fully and high-technologically equipped hospital.
